A Mandate to Preach the Word of God in a Unique Way
A Church-Centre Raising A People of Purity, Power, Purpose, and Prosperity
In December 1998, whilst on a flight from Tel Aviv (Israel) enroute Amsterdam (the Netherlands) to London (England) for a Ministry engagement, God spoke to me and told me that He will be taking me out of my home country of Nigeria to minister His word to the world in a unique way.
A little under two years after that airplane encounter, however, God relocated my young family and I to the United Kingdom where I pursued and obtained a doctorate degree in Construction Engineering and Management. I also served as Associate Pastor in two growing churches in Wolverhampton, West Midlands for 13 years, whilst at the same time maintaining the pace of my itinerant ministry assignments and professional engagements worldwide.
In November 2012, God spoke to me to establish for Him a Church-Centre that will raise for Him a people of Purity, Power, Purpose and Prosperity. The Centre was also mandated to have a mission of imparting humanity with the message of the Abundant Life in Jesus. It was on the basis of this mandate that Lifegate was born as inspired by the teachings of Jesus in the biblical book of John Chapter 14vs6 and John 10vs9. My wife, Lola and I then began to pray earnestly for direction and inspiration on how to go about fulfilling this call. Some of my mentors and friends also prayed along.
Lifegate is therefore an outreach organisation - the Church of Jesus Christ being at its very heart. As a non-profit charitable organisation, Lifegate is advancing the Christian faith through evangelism, discipleship and leadership. In line with scriptural commandments, the Centre serves as a place of fellowship, ministry and the training of the membership to live and spread the Abundant Life message through their spheres of influence. In the light of this, Lifegate will continue to engage with Society through community initiatives - working in collaboration with relevant local authorities and agencies using the various graces and giftings of the membership.
